About EETimes
The pace of design and development of today's electronics products just keeps getting faster. Time-to-market pressures are fierce, margins are tight, and quality is at the forefront. Add to that today's turbulent economic and political climate, and you have formidable business challenges.
Engineers and technical managers are always searching for a competitive advantage, to find the information they need when they need it. The Internet has made technology news pervasive, from your local and national outlets to general business publications. However, finding the story behind the story, what it means and how it can help do your job better, that's the real value.
And that's where EE Times comes in.
For thirty years, EE Times has been the electronics industry newspaper of record. We break the stories that shape your business, describing the technical implications and trade-offs with thoughtful analysis and compelling opinion. For more than 150,000 design and development engineers and technical managers, EE Times is a "must read" each week.
EE Times Stands Above:
- High-Quality Editorial
- Best Readership
- Best Circulation
- Flexibility & Frequency
- Integrated Marketing
- Industry Leadership
EE Times' editorial mission is to provide engineers and technical managers with timely, relevant news, analysis and opinion - of both technology and business - to help them keep their fingers on the pulse of the industry and to enable them to make the most informed business, technology and product decisions involving their designs.
We do this with the largest, most experienced, international staff of seasoned editors assembling an exclusive mix of breaking news stories, in-depth analytical reports and controversial commentary that reflect the most significant shifts in technology and business today.
EE Times in print, works in tandem with EE Times.com, its sister international publications, (EE Times Asia, EE Times China), and it's diverse online communities, to provide readers with the first look at technical innovation, by providing them with what they need to know to make decisions that impact what they specify, design and buy.
EE Times' print design supplements, InsideDSP and Planet Analog, along with other specialized, in-depth design publications provide a perfect extension to EE Times' broad reach.
Our strong affiliation with industry leading events, such as the Communications Design Conference and the various Embedded Systems Conferences, provide a unique opportunity for engineers and technical managers to learn from and meet face-to-face with specialists and vendors that are working with leading-edge technology.

IN FOCUS
EE Times' In Focus sections provide subscribers with valuable insight into the rapidly changing world of electronics design. In this technical section, articles are written "by engineers for engineers." Each week a different area is spotlighted, with an emphasis on a Focus topic. Four majors areas are covered each month:
- Communications Design
- Embedded Design
- Signals
- Silicon Engineering
Each In Focus section leads with an overview perspective on trends in the industry. Written by EE Times staff editors or consultants, the overview is often followed by analysis of current issues relevant to the area of interest. This section includes several articles contributed by practicing engineers who address design issues related to their expertise. The section concludes with Resources - a roundup of additional reading, paper citations, related website URLs, distributor information and employment data related to the focus.
